It was brought to my attention yesterday that a brand new Lucid Dreaming device has hit the market. Looking like a 90's headband from Saved By The Bell, it rests comfortably across your forehead and continuously scans your brain waves throughout the night, allowing the machine to "go to work" collaborating with your thoughts and inviting you into a lucid dream state. Ummm.....what? As appealing as this toy may be to some, I cannot help raise one eyebrow and indulge into my rabbit hole of paranoia. How is this NOT another way for the government to intervene and control us? I was just as horrified when "Alexa" hit the scene. Remember her? The small little black disk that sits tucked away in the corner of your kitchen...with it's only job to LISTEN to every word you speak. (And yes, my views on cell phones are just as sketch.) Okay, so I am not going to break the internet today with a crazy hippie-girl rant about mind control, MK Ultra, and the evils
