FEED YOUR SOUL....NOW.

We throw around sayings like, "Yolo" but do we really? I am not talking about the once a year vacations or the random adventures...although, those are all AWESOME. But i mean more in the every day sense. You are saying "yolo" because you might be jumping out of an airplane, but can you also scream it on a random Tuesday? Okay, let me clarify....Don't live for the weekend! I get it, we are having this human experience and need shelter, food, and clothes on our body....which typically is not because of the barter-system anymore. So yes, money. Ya need it. Okay, great. Go out and make some.....by doing what you LOVE!!!!! There does not have to be a separation between life and work. They can blend!!! Allow those lines to blur and seek that flow of energy exchange (money) in ways where you are not "clocking in" to a situation that robs from your spirit. Are you staring at the clock all day? Counting the days til Friday night?! STOP.
Close your eyes. If you can do ANYthing in the world, what would you do? Ya know what...I bet there is way for you to do just exactly that. Oh sure, I am not preaching that it may be an easy path at first, but it sure will be an exciting one! Downsize. Get rid of what you do not NEED. Bills can go down to a minimum. What do you need vs. what you were taught to believe that you need. Practice simplicity. And then....fly free.
This is YOUR life. What will you CREATE?

My today.....A glimpse:
4am - woke up, fed puppies, sipped coffee
5am - spoke with my husband (yey!) #deploymentlife
6am - Pilates
7am - Long hot shower, music blasting.
8am - Breakfast & festival prep
10am - 12pm: Oracle Card vending. Meditation. Sun-bathing.
1pm - Puppy walk
2pm - Hubby time yet again  while laying in the hammock
4pm - Bubble bath.... while singing loudly.
5pm - Movies & hot tea
This glimpse exercise may seem pointless to some, but to me...it's a window into my world. My simply, simple world.
YOUR LIFE IS NOW. Feed your soul. Dance in the shower. Sit on the grass and do nothing. Cloud gaze. Make love. Play. Paint. Stretch. Pray. Hug. Laugh....just laugh. Open your heart wide and your mind even wider. Try on new ways of seeing the world and release all judgement of others, and of yourself. Forgive yourself. Love yourself. Spoil yourself. Stop rushing your life away. Are you happy?! GET HAPPY. You know what to do. You're born for it.
The are a million ways society today would classify "The American Dream." I call bullshit on all of them. The ONLY measure of success in my book....is happiness.
If you wake up every single day and are TRULY happy to be participating in the life you have created, then you win. If not? Then re-create your life! And guess what...you still win.
Welcome to your life. Cannot wait to hear all about it.

EMOTIONAL SNEEZE

Okay, so imagine you're minding your own business, out in the world. Perhaps at line in a local coffee shop, buying up some sunrise caffeine in a cup. Or maybe, you're at work, sitting quietly at your desk. Either way, with your eyes closed, imagine the calm. You're just....chillin. Okay, wait, open your eyes, there's more to read. LOL Where am I going with this? Well, there you are, in your own space, when BAM!!! Someone walks up and sneezes all over you. I  mean alllll over you! A giant sneeze. (((gasp)))) Ewwww. Grossed out? Horrified? Do you feel violated? Now, replace the "sneeze" with "complaining." This is what it feels like to be an empath on the day to day. It's social edict to greet a friend, stranger, co-worker, etc, with a smile, a quick hello, or often a "how ya doing today?" And most of the time, people can't wait tell you. In my experience, it's rarely positive and I can't help but almost always regret...

REIKI vs. READING

As my Reiki practice continues to grow strong, I find myself more than ever, hyper-focused on the client in front of me. My intent is not just to help them feel more at ease, relaxed, and tranquil, but to assist them in unblocking any old energies that may be stuck and hindering their natural, healthy, organic energy flow. I aim to clear away old emotional baggage, balance & activate their main Chakra points, and leave them feeling refreshed and recharged. ( My favorite is the white light bubble of protection....but that's another blog.) (((wink))) This past weekend, after a session with one of my Reiki clients, I could not deny the overwhelming sensation of depletion. I felt exhausted in a way that I have not felt during other sessions. After crashing into a full afternoon nap, I woke with curiosity and reached out to a couple fellow Reiki Practitioners for advice. One conversation really struck my soul and changed my perception, permanently... Since day 1, almost a year ...

MIRROR MIRROR, NOT ON MY WALL

Imagine you are the caretaker of a toddler. A toddler who in a fit of rage, throws themselves down on the floor, acting out in complete tantrum mode. Would you join this tiny human for you're own fist-to-floor pounding and excessive screaming? No. I mean, I am sure there are moments you may feel like mirroring that behavior, but surely, you would not. Our "grown-up" approach should be no different when handling those around us, regardless of age . It is important to pay close attention to self and the energy vortex that surrounds you. Dramatic? Let me break it down.... Have you ever caught yourself being unusually gossipy around those that love to share secrets? Or perhaps, you found yourself feeling a little (as they say in the USMC) "salty," when around someone who tends to hold onto anger or frustrations? This is you getting sucked into someone else's energy vortex. Awareness is key! If you catch yourself acting out someone else's emotions, simpl...
