THE SECRET UNDERGROUND

For the last two days I have been chatting it up with another soul sister about my discovery of what feels like the "Underground World" of Jacksonville, NC. Our conversation inspired me to blog and share about the magic I have seemed to stumble into....Or was I graciously invited into? **wink** :)

This small community is considered a conservative, Southern Military town, at the beginning of what's labeled, "The Bible Belt." God fearing and steady church goers that are quick to finger-point if you are not following in their exact footsteps. A year ago, I grew sad and lonely as I was quickly discovering my intuitive talents and had a thirst for more, yet believed I was walking this path solo. And so, I prayed. I ask the Universe to show me the tribe; A group of ladies that are not just sharing their friendship, but also their wisdom. Girlfriends and mentors alike! And just like that, the Universe responded.

I do not believe I have ever in my life imagined something that has not at one point or another, simply not just shown up. I learned at a young age that I am a very powerful manifester. A blessing, yes, but the other side of the coin is that I had to learn how to be in constant control of my thought patterns, because what I think....will become.

MAGIC! It was as if the sky had opened up and rained awesome souls right onto my path! Jena. Andrea. Oceania. Zuly. Dru. (Only to name a few!) The list is long and I am grateful. It has not stopped there and I know it won't. Each woman hardworking in her own way. Some have built beautiful businesses that continue to grow, others simply enjoy the flow of being low-key yet, prosperous. Beach gatherings, backyard drum circles, and kitchen table Tarot Card Readings. For us, Spirituality is not an "industry." It is a way of life. <3 I learn more with every sunrise. And more importantly....I am no longer alone.
