THANK YOU.

This day last year was my first day at a whole new job. I left waitressing and took a clerical job in the heart of a 3-story wellness building. I had absolutely zero computer skills and even less of a passion for secretarial work, but I knew I wanted to plant myself in an environment built for learning. I took the job behind the desk for the sole purpose to be eventually standing in FRONT of the desk. This day last year I stood in a restaurant parking lot speaki ng with a girlfriend who introduced me to this epic center.... I said, "I once built a business in 3 years." She replied, "I bet you do it again in under 2." And she was right. One year later, those 40 hours have dwindled down to 16, and are slowly still dropping. My website is in full bloom and clients are coming in weekly. Zen Therapy Classes have taken off like a rocket and I can truly say that I feel proud of myself. Is it arrogant, pompous, or boastful to look in the mirror and finally s...

1 YEAR HOLISTIC.

It was exactly one year that I decided to take my life to the next level physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It was within the last year or so leading up to this moment that I gradually chose to make changes, inviting in the possibility of growing into my best self; My Higher Self. Leaving an old life behind, discovering a new one, marrying my Twin Flame, daily meditation, and spending a Summer living in a tent, all helped transform my natur al intuitive skill set, as well as shape the life I live at this moment. 1 year ago, I decided to step it up and drastically change my nutritional regiment to super-duper clean eating. Not only did I go full blown Vegan, but I also removed soy and all forms of grain (ie: wheat, corn, flour, etc) In addition to the strict food intake, I also ditched alcohol, marijuana, vaping, and all synthetic products like lotions, chemical based cleaners, hair-dye, and make-up. Over the last 365 days my body as become a temple for greatness,...

I GOT SCHOOLED

After a couple months of total hibernation, I was invited out by a small group of friends to join the Downtown Wilmington festivities of coffee, art, and music. Naturally, it was a no-brainer to arrange my schedule and be there. The plan was to meet at 10am for the carpool line-up and then we were off into the world. As the event grew closer, I learned more and more friends who were planning on attending, no longer could. By the morning of, my husband and I wer e to be joined by only two couples. An hour before meet-up, we went down to one couple. "Bailing" is not foreign to me as I once lived that wobbley life of "super excited in the moment!", only to be bored, "over it", or have completely moved on when the time came. I do not fail to meet my commitments anymore, but I am often surrounded by those that do. Some days I grow frustrated, while other days, I simply enjoy the tranquility and peace that comes with alone time. Yesterday morning, however, pl...

THE DONATION

I used to have this twisted belief that any talents placed upon me by Higher Source, was for Divine use only. Example? As a talented dancer, I believed that if I accepted money or any large sum of money in exchange for classes taught or choreography dispensed, my skill set would somehow dissipate. Like I would lose this talent if it was not given freely, as the blessing it was. This was a struggle for years and only increased as I became even MORE in touch with m y Spirituality. When I realized I had a gift with Oracle Cards, I refused payment for them, believing strongly that I would be somehow disrespecting my intuitive craft. Less than a year ago, I had a conversation with my Mentor (and practicing Buddhist) about the fluid nature of money and how it is simply energy flowing from one hand to another. I learned about the true value of my time and commitment to others. The more I allow to be paid for services helping others, the more I can actually help others. Ridding my li...

RELEASING ATTACHMENT

RELEASING ATTACHMENT As I continue to take on more clients and allow for the growth of increasing business, a new website, and of course, the fresh interactive Facebook page, I am gently reminded of what comes with it all; Limelight. A shiny spotlight and magnifying glass was something I was once comfortable under 7 years ago, but these days I tend to shy away from "too much attention." However, with that being said, I must come to terms and accept that with the launch of Zen Tribe Guide will come a flood of clients and opinions. My only responsibility to world is that I always remain in alignment. What does that mean? For me it means being in harmony with the Universe, living my truth, and staying focused on the job in front of me. I have truly begun to master the ability to allow for an opinion to be shared with me, and then after, I release it back into the atmosphere. I actually enjoy the various different perspectives other's have on things and fin...
